Mr Quinn Jnr, Mr Kelly and Mr McMahon have all received certificates of personal fitness to run a bookmaking business, as per the regulations passed in 2015. Mr Quinn’s nephew Seamus McMahon from Belturbet is named as a QuinnBet director. Mr Quinn Sr’s youngest daughter Brenda, once charged with ownership of the Slieve Russell Hotel near Ballyconnell, is understood to be working as Quinnbet’s Operations Manager, while the tycoon’s eldest daughter Collette, is understood to be involved in recruiting for the new business.

He serves as the betting firm’s chief financial officer, while Niall McPartland, married to Ciara, acts as the company’s legal and compliance officer.

Owned by Belbridge Consultancy and registered in Belturbet, amongst the family members also involved in Quinn Bet is Mr Quinn Sr’s son-in-law, Stephen Kelly, who is married to Aoife. Launched last month, and financially backed by ex-billionaire Mr Quinn himself, QuinnBet is the latest attempt by the family to restablish an enterprising foothold since being dramatically ousted from the group of businesses founded by their patriarch in April 2011. Other tenants in the Connall building include the Office for Social Protection, and McAveety McKenna Solicitors, as well as several other local businesses. The local office is expected to serve in managing part of QuinnBet’s growing customer services division, and starts out with up six people being employed there in a mix of full-time and part-time positions. The fledgling firm took up space at the Connall building (pictured above) on the town's Main Street, overlooking the Woodford River. “QuinnBet will have staff working there from week,” the new betting company's chief executive officer Sean Quinn Jr informed The Anglo-Celt last week.
